So, I joined a straight spouse online support group yesterday.

It's been surprisingly helpful. No one's heard a story quite like the Nick/Nancy debacle, but other behaviors are very familiar. The lies, betrayal, selfishness, and even the wanting to be best friends/cuddle mates is all quite familiar to the people on this list.

To be clear, no one there seems homophobic. In fact, they outline that any gay bashing or talking of stereotypes of homosexuals in general won't be tolerated. It's just a bunch of people, like me, who've had their worlds torn apart from their spouse coming out.

One story was particularly horrifying. A woman had two kids with one on the way. Her husband came out to her a few weeks before she gave birth to their third child, and was texting his new boyfriend while she was in labor.
