the trunk last week should have had the inside liners restored and that's it. re-doing the outside may have killed all value. EVERY expert on Antiques Roadshow says never to refinish vintage wood pieces.
The mini Coke salesman's model: A friend collects these and says the model the restorer returned was NOT the item dropped off. He switched them to show something shiny on camera.
