Top Chef last night (spoilers)

until last night's elimination challenge, it had been one course dishes - I wonder if Angelo has a weaknesses, in putting a whole meal together. Celery with peanut butter was not inspired, even if you put a new twist on it. He almost tanked Kenny or Ed, and I wouldn't have forgiven him for that.

I loved the quickfire, other than the fact Angelo saved Rosie O'Donnell's butt with immunity.

I liked how many chefs didn't think like middle schoolers when composing their dishes, and my hat is off to those that did, fooling kids with whipped yogurt was impressive. And using sherry right in a middle schooler dish?

I know that it is supposed to be a just one dish and you're gone deal, but I think that the previous week's chicken liver mousse was in the back of the judge's minds when they made the decision on Jacqueline. I know they didn't want to dump Kenny or Ed.

I love Gail Simmons..."As an adult, there are lots of things I like that I wouldn't give to a middle-schooler. I like vodka, and not to cook with."
