Jamie was not happy. The name changes really bugged him. Plus he didn't like some of the stuff that was cut out of the show.

Some of his favorite stuff (which, by the way didn't really affect the main story) didn't make it in...and that pissed him off.
Really, he could have just gone the Harry Potter route, added 30-45 more minutes and included a lot more stuff that would make avid fans happier. Of course, it would have been more shitty dialogue and wooden acting...but it's a kid's show, so it's not like the voicework was all that great to begin with.
