Its a tough call. His production hasn't dipped much at all (a minor scoring dip the last three years, but y'know... a lot more help on that end now.)

Still plays elite defense, still averages 35 minutes a game... but he'll turn 33 before the season. Can he keep it up through age 36? Dunno. But if the new deal is correct, he'll actually cost less in 2010-11 than he otherwise would have, so in terms of the salary he forfeited, they are only paying him 3 years for 4 years of play. That mitigates the risk some.
