Kelly (waves) - I JUST made baked beans (super easy) for a cook out (2nd time actually) and they were a big hit again. Recipe inside:

1/2 lb (10 slices) bacon
4 onions thinly sliced
1 C firm packed brown sugar
1 1/2 t dry mustard
1/2 c cider vinegar
2 cans (1 lb each) dry butter beans (Cal. limas)
1 can (15.5 oz) green lima beans
1 can (15 oz) kidney beans
1 lg can (28 oz) new england style baked beans
in wide fry pan - cook bacon over med heat until crisp - lift out drain crumble set aside
discard all but 1/4 cup of bacon fat - add onions to the pan separating into rings stir in brown sugar, mustard & vinegar - cook over med heat stirring occasionally until juices reduced by half (about 10 min)
drain butter, lima and kidney beans, combine with uncrained baked beans in 3 to 3.5 qt casserole - add onion mixture and all but 2 TB's of the bacon - stir until blended. Bake uncovered 350 oven until hot and bubble 1 1/4 to 1.5 hours - garnish with reserved bacon. You can also prepare up to the baking part and refrigerate overnight. It's sweet & sour baked beans and a lovely delicious dish - 10 to 12 servings and I doubled it both times because of the size of the group for the cookouts I attended - worked great. One time - I skipped the oven and just slow cooked it all in a crock pot all day. YUMMT
