The analogy succeeds or fails depending on what you're trying to argue. David and I are arguing what the rule should be. That the play itself is equivalent to goaltending and should be treated as such. You're arguing an analogy based on what the rule is and in that respect I think you're correct, it's just not what we're arguing. So we're just talking past each other. But I apologize for the Dane remark. I should have realized it's the ST equivalent of Godwin's law.
