my experience with the wedding industry is that they rent stuff for 1/4 to 1/3rd retail price

true with tuxes and wedding dresses you have to clean inbetween and there's the labor and overhead to measure and package, ispect upon return etc.
but a wedding dress that would rent for $300 probably had a $900 retail tag (which means wholesaled for 3-400) and would be rented 3 times and sold for 1200 total
tools and stuff rents for 10% retail value, so I suppose that wold be the cost of jewerly rental
