(c) i sent separate invites to anyone in the household 18 or above. only dealt with this in one case, but did some research

and apparently that's what you're "supposed" to do.
of course, if you did everything you were supposed to do, you might go crazy.
it worked for me because i had tied up the whole bundle with a little gift tag which is where i put the names, and wouldn't have had room for everyone's names plus guest otherwise.
