since we have a very conservative, pro business legislature, we have a fireworks superstore on the freeway towards Boise - they sell fireworks that are illegal in this state

Its legal to buy them, but you have to sign a paper guaranteeing that you won't set them off in the state of Idaho. So my next door neighbor goes and buys a boxful every year and sets them off in our street.
