Stats are used by fans to compare players. 60 home runs is better than 50. If the guy hitting 60 has an outfield 10 feel shorter than the other guy.

How the hell can one honestly compare?
Not like Peyton Manning plays half his games on a home field that is 90 yards vs. 100 yards in other stadiums.
I just never understood this. You have pitcher parks, and hitters parks. How is that really fair when you are paid based on performance?
