I agree but this happens every year. The managers reward their own guys instead of taking more deserving players from other teams.

The rational is that the manager has to see those players all year and if they feel the manager slighted them things may be uncomfortable between them the rest of the season.

I don't like the practice but every year we see it and every year we argue about it.
