I... don't think I can pick one. (that's so me.) there are particular pieces that resonate and come back to me periodically.

sometimes I have to stop listening if I don't want to weep, even all these years later. in part because of some stuff that happened with which I associate listening to it (over and over), and just.. well, how it fits me.
michael stipe's voice/r.e.m. has always hit my brain in a particularly matchy way, and there are other individual songs from others that are pretty perfect to me; but, though his other works also are up there for me, p.g. did something right and good with that album that hits me in a different way.
definitely part of the soundtrack of my brain and life.
