I know there must have been good in your wife, but good freaking grief. that was just so stupid and potentially dangerous (for those who don't know, hives can be a start to badness that leads to anaphalaxis) and completely wrong, ugh.
so sorry, and so glad you're away from someone who would do that, even if meant as funny. ughugh.
