his 1st solo album, "Never a Dull Moment" was actually very good. It deserved to do better.

He's a complete moron but the songs made you think he was perhaps a good man, who loved his kids, was trying to make a life with his ex-wife and basically just trying, like the rest of us, to figure it out and not get crushed in the process.
It was musically a bit varied which surprised me as well. It was fairly creative I thought. It's one of my guilty pleasure albums of the last ten years for sure.
