Some people run some personal expenses through the business (to the extent they can show a business purpose).

You can run health insurance through it, maybe a car expense, etc. The point being, the concerns about small business owner being hurt are silly. There is a sense that's being perpetrated that a small business, since it has higher revenues, will more likely hit the $250k threshhold and get taxed, hurting more people than just those earning over $250,000, but it really isn't true.
