There's a major reason he was never made the franchise with long title runs...cuz he didn't draw as champ

now, that might be becuase most of the bookers there couldn't do their jobs well, but the basic reason it always ended up being him and Flair in the ring was because Flair sold out southern arenas, and Sting found the extra gear to go with him in the ring.

But anyone other than Flair, Sting just couldn't get there....WCW tried to make him the young star but he just never reached their expectations.

No shame in that, he had 15 years of legitimate wrestling stardom, but he isn't in the top 5 of his generation as far as drawing; and he couldn't really get many quality matches with someone not named Flair. *hardly the first person ever to say that*
