Nope, he just ended up driving away. But (I can't remember if this was pre or post sitting outside the house...they flashed back to Peter Gallagher and his wife. They chatted "As soon as we brought her in, he resurfaced." "Ben Miller has returned. What do we do?" "Keep her in, eventually she'll lead us right to him." Then the wife tried to talk to (apologize it seemed) to husband and he wasn't having it.
I love the blind guy, the definitely got the friend/sidekick role correct.
