in the good old days i'd copy the mailbox into a new name

delete the unwanted messages in the old one and have all in the copyed version and let exchange use the old one still
if i needed acces to the old data i rename it into the ususal name and use it to print from
messy but usable and i am sure there is now some sort of software that can do all this with nice graphics and shiny buttons
