I understand. Though don't automatically rule anything out and remember I'm always willing to approach a trade with an open mind.

Because while you might secure a better RB than those with that #1 pick (though honestly, I'm not sure how many of the RBs available at that time *will* be ahead of a RB like Wells), if you have an RB like Thomas to go with Mendenhall, well, he's not going to cost you the #1 pick to get, so you now have options of taking a third RB with the #1 and having depth to play with week to week on matchups OR you go after a solid starting WR to go with Crabtree.
