Q: Morton's Classic Tri-tip boy was that salty...I know it has a 12% injection but I'm wondering if we increased it

the instructions just said to put it in teh oven at 425 for appprox 50 mins. but mom decided to brown it first. would taht do anything to draw out excess water and leave a higher percentage of salt behind?
