I'm always torn on the idea of treating convicted rapists and child molesters differently for the rest of their lives. On one hand, they served their time and should get something of a clean slate upon release, right? Not have to be tracked on websites and marked as deviants for the rest of their lives.
On the other hand, this happens for a reason. I.e., their recidivism rates. Chemical castration should counter that reason, to a large degree.
