A poker hand I had tonight on my WSoP iPad app...

I was dealt pocket aces, one of which is a club, on the first hand of the tournament. Everyone starts with $5k in chips.
$30 call is made by five players at the table other than myself. The small blind is not one of them.
The flop comes Js, Qc, 10c. At this point, everyone loses their damn mind.
First to act bets $105, next to act goes up to $335, third to act goes up to $755. Even though I have an overpair, I almost lay down the hand. I decide to call. The player behind me, the big blind, goes all in. All other players call. Seriously.
I am last to decide and I have every confidence that someone in front of me has AK. I know with every fiber of my being that my hand is beaten yet it's not real money and I want to see what happens next. So, I follow all the other lemmings off the cliff. Hands are revealed.
The big blind, player number six, has 8/9o, meaning they have a straight to the queen.
Player number one has A/Ko, meaning they have a straight to the ace.
Player number two has pocket jacks, meaning they have trips yet need the board to pair to win the hand.
Player number three has pocket sixes and has the only hand that should have been laid down after the post-flop arms race.
Player number four has Jc/9c, meaning that they have middle pair and a -straight- flush draw. They never would have forgiven themselves (assuming virtual poker players experience regret) had they laid down the hand only to see the 8 or K of clubs revealed.
The flop is the 8 of spades and my hand is already dead.
The river is a Q of diamonds, meaning that the pocket jacks turn into a full house and that hand wins, busting out 5 (!) other players at a 9 player table in the process. He has 30,000 chips while three others have 5,000 and presumably confused looks on their faces about what just happened. Meanwhile, I'm eliminated in one hand and again lament the curse of pocket aces.
