do you have a college degree? check your local DHHS website. I work for DDS. all it requires is a college degree and the intelligence to do the job

and yes they are mutually exclusive. They will train you. And since it's a government job it's pretty secure. Of course I have no idea what you do/did so I dunno if this would be a pay cut or what.
