but they have grown so much in their craft that comparing the movies isnt even comparable. but when they went back to make toy story 3, they just didnt want to bring in those new tools (either conciously or not), they wanted to stay true to the story and the mythos, techniques, etc.

in some regards we should give them more credit for doing that, as opposed if they had gone the route of the recent star wars films.
