i leaned them up against the little 'desk back drop' at the edge of my desk and one slipped - and it went INTO the desk. like, you can't get it out without *dismantling the desk*. So i just had two vice presidents and the head of HR taking my desk apart with a screwdriver to retrieve the package.

they were amused.

i felt like an idiot.

but, seriously, how stupid is a desk that can swallow giant envelopes without a trace???
