Cause you don't want to have to get up at the crack of dawn just to get your hair done one at a time. It also means being fully dressed before the hair is done.

Something that my wife didn't account for at first, and she and her bridesmads has to get up suuuuuuper early to get dressed and have their hair done in time.

- Depends on how elaborate a hair style you want, I guess. IIRC, each party member took over an hour for hair (and makeup). - musubi Jul 19, 14:37
