That makes it tricky. This may be indelicate but, is she a good hair stylist? I mean, if she isn't, that makes the decision easier.

If she is, then yeah it might be a nice thing. But it might be nice to just let her relax and be a part of the party too. Dealer's choice on this one, whichever you feel is right.
