I'm ambivalent on this one - letting patients see physicians notes usually meant only for other docs/med pros. (link.)

after my case was settled, my lawyer gave me all of the documentation from my incarceration/surgeries/etc.

I looked through a bunch of it; and, while I'm usually for as much info. as possible, there's something unsettling about some of the surgical and post-appt notes. mel mentioned the piece-of-meat thing recently, and that's what has to be done for drs to do what needs to be done; but I don't necessarily want/need to read about myself from that perspective along the way. eh.

maybe a summary version would be best.
