I went almost entirely without it at my place for most of a year some years ago. I still had one, and cable with it; but it just stopped appealing to me for a while.
I did use my computer quite a bit, and I think that took the place of some of what I got from tv. no watching tv shows on it then, though.
martha stewart and football brought me back. heh.
