yes worthwhile and don't both with any of the bundles, just get the straight console

All of the ps3 consoles are identical - other than hard drive size now. Earlier models had different stuff, but they've simplified it to just one model now.
And unlike Remlik, I've found tons of games worth playing.
The bluray player is just a bonus.
