Notice that the Swede example involves a national "identify card" for every interaction with the government and is housed by their tax department....

I know we have SIN's but I can not see most Canadians trusting the CRA with that much info so I think its a non starter for us.

Stats Can already does get a lot of tax information from CRA but its in aggregate form that I am aware of.
