fwiw, I didn't think w'burg was that cheesy. I had a work thing there and someone related to us was on some

committee or other there.

stayed/met at the williamsburg inn, we were led to dinner by a fife and drum duo, and "Thomas Jefferson" (iirc, played by a prof. from w&m) spoke with us and answered questions. (I couldn't resist asking about slaves, ;p-me.)

it was all very tasteful, as were the demos.

(btw, my sister and I didn't spend much time in salem; but it seemed more ooky to me, power-hungry policeman not included. heh.)
