I felt similarly when I was a kid, until I had good cherry tomatoes. that was my gateway drug. *pause* we've done this before, haven't we? heh.

Yes, everyone in my family has gone through the same schedule... taste for tomatoes, bleu cheese, mushrooms, olives, etc.

the texture thing is what I was after there... good cherry/grape tomatoes have a very different texture to the regular kinds.
