For that content, you could probably grab an Acer Revo. Anything with an ION or ION2 chipset should work very well

Atom CPU and Nvidia 9000 series graphics integrated. Should offload the H.264 or MPEG-2 playback very nicely. I use the same basic idea as my MythTV frontend and it plows through TV HD just fine.

- It's a PC. You can run Windows on it (including Windows Media Center with Netflix) or XBMC if you want. You can connect USB drives to it for sure - oblique Jul 27, 09:06 3
