It's a PC. You can run Windows on it (including Windows Media Center with Netflix) or XBMC if you want. You can connect USB drives to it for sure

It has an NVIDIA 9000 series GPU in it (just like a system I have at home). It can playback 1080p recorded ATSC HD no problem
