AA is pretty committed to RDU from what I can tell. They are even running a triple-miles promotion there for the rest of the year

as is Delta. They are fighting for customer there. AA is just trying to fly everything through hubs, and RDU isn't a hub for them.
They cut RDU-AUS last year, as well as RDU-STL I think. STL and BOS are getting similar treatment as RDU...reduction on flights to anyplace that isn't a hub. But they are still flying lots of flights from those cities to their hubs.
