I'm not sure how much you can really love someone who only gives part of himself.

I mean there can be feelings of crushy and romantic love; but when there's no depth and more shared time and experiences together, it's not the full deal.
life together is more than a succession of once-a-month first dates; and, since that's all there's been, maybe she's thinking more about what she'd like to happen.
