People don't get to the all the stages at exactly the same time. Someone might be happy and committed but just not ready to go to the next level

even though the other person is.
it's not a competition or a race. he's not necessarily doing anything *wrong*, she just has to decide if who he is now and *POSSIBLY* in the future is enough for her.
