Oh my. Not sure I should even be posting this here, but not sure what to do.

So, I took my mom to her first check up at the doctor post surgery - she's doing well.

So anyway, my brother is out, his girlfriend is at work, so the kids were by themselves for a little bit. Not a big deal - 12 and 10 can handle themselves for a little bit especially since they are very independent.

When we got back, my niece was in bed. She isn't feeling well - I think she got what I had. My 12-year-old nephew (technically not - he's my brother's girlfriend's son, but he's basically been my nephew all his life) wasn't easily found and didn't answer right away. Eventually he answered and was downstairs and acting a bit suspicious. I assumed he was a 12-year-old boy and could guess what he was doing.

So then I couldn't find the laptop I've been using while I was here in the room where he was. Firefox had been turned on to (Private Browsing) so I again assumed I knew what he was doing. No big deal, he's 12-and-a-half.

However, he left a movie open on the computer. It's a movie of him walking around wearing nothing but a skirt. It's obvious that's what he was doing when we got back.

Now, under normal circumstances I would just pass this information on to his parents, but as we've learned I'm not 100% sure that this is a normal situation with his parents.

I guess that it is now my responsibility to have a conversation with him and let him know that he can talk to me if he wants, but that I will keep his secret for now. I don't think I should even talk to my mom about this.

*sigh*
