They only had one hour to cook on the day of the luncheon. Fresh english peas take 30-40 minutes to cook, without boiling, in order to make a puree. Then after you've done a puree, you still have to strain them through a fine sieve, then reheat them. Alex-hole did no other prep the night before, in fact he whined about it. Thus, he's a thief.
Karma? I sure hope so.
I'm not real crazy about Angelo, although I would have loved his quickfire toothpick.
I picked Chef Kenny to win after the first episode. I still think he can, but he's got to pick up his game a little.
