I love the "urban survival" element, but as soon as you add outsiders, it's completely flawed. Spoilers

If it was truly the end of the world and there were no laws, you'd be killing people with whatever you could to defend your stuff, not just pushing guys in the chest. The fact that everyone involved knows it isn't real dooms it from the beginning.
