it was like an old TLC program with people building things (out of necessity), figuring things out, trying to get along...
Some of the stuff they built in the first season was very cool. I don't think they have the right people this season to do that though. No engineers, scientists, etc. The best they have this time is a retired contractor, a building foreman, etc. They're people good at building things but not at figuring out and designing the things they need to build.
The first episode of this season had very little science and a lot of fighting.
