While you're right in theory, I still think that the guy brought it on himself.

Refund his ticket for sure.
But I think the stadium folks have a right to think that guy was there to cause trouble. They can ask you to leave for causing a disturbance. I think it's kinda like if the guy wore a Nazi uniform (Godwin!) or a KKK hood, he might have the right to wear it, but the stadium has the right to tell him, "not here".
