ST Poll: Choose a hotel

I can stay at either the Gran Melia of the JW Marriott in Caracas. JW is much more expensive. Both have similar reviews (i.e. they rank among the best in Caracas, but all the review say the city is unsafe and the hotels have some issues, though the hotel issues are non safety-related).

I go with the Gran Melia, right?
