He was scheduled and cancelled. He recorded a video for them instead.

And yes, this lowers my respect for him. The Boy Scouts are a group that exist for to promote the development and leadership of boys. It has a positive impact on many, many lives. This year they are celebrating their centennial. I feel it was a worthwhile cause for him to attend.
