End of the day, the Yankees knew if it was even-steven, he wasn't coming; he's not a big-city guy from all accounts. They knew they had to overpay.
And he's still waffling...there's plenty of reasons why.
Not everyone is an ARod or a Manny, seeking to wring every last penny out of anyone who'll bother with them.
