They play by the rules, it's the rules that don't work. Also, I've been a fan since around '83 or so and it wasn't easy with the most NY jumping on

Mets bandwagon in '85 and '86. The Yanks sucked for most of my childhood and teenage years.
I know it's not fair that they buy so many players but they play by the rules and until they change them I expect they'll keep it up.
