Tom Curran was also the primary spy on MI:6 for several seasons, that's where I knew him from and he was awesome. I couldn't agree any less about the script and direction. The primary actors are introduced slowly,one or two at a time in order for you to get to know them. This is a historically accurate account of English history during the period after Charlemagne when the country went into civil war, Popes were changed out like your underpants, everybody and his brother had a claim to the monarchy, and the master builders were held in higher esteem than the bishops and archbishops. I'm sorry you're bored, I find it well acted and fascinating.
