In response to "What flaws really? I don't agree fully with the Wall-E criticism, but I at least see the basis for it." by Will Hunting

If TDW wrapped up around the 100 min mark or even stretched it to two hours, it would be fine (spoilers).

But the movie has it's big climax in the streets with the truck/motorcycle sequence and joker is captured. Nothing else afterwards comes close, so the first flaw is peaking way too early. Same problem as the matrix sequels and just about every movie Roland Emmerich ever made.

The whole two-face part feels like it was tacked on. Are we watching Batman vs Joker or Batman vs Two Face? There was no need. The point about good people doing bad things and justifying them had been made over and over. What did Two Face contribute to the rest of the movie? Not much. If they had just used it as a set up for the next movie and ended with the reveal of Two Face in the hospital bed it would have been a much better movie.

There are other issues I have with the movie, but those are two biggest about the 2nd half.
